SINGLE DADS
Web Series
Synopsis
Single Dads is a scripted web series chronicling the misadventures of two single fathers struggling with the responsibility of having kids. Single Dads stars Pete and Brian, who met when they both got kicked out of a parenting class at the local YMCA. They quickly became best friends, bonding over the fact that they both have one-year-olds - Pete Jr. and Theodore - who they are raising without the help of their mothers. The mother characters are out of the picture; all we know is that Pete and Brian are raising kids on their own. Each episode will show them tackling a new task, from changing diapers to going on a "playdate". They always have the best of intentions, but inevitably do something irresponsible or thoughtless. Taking care of a one-year-old requires round-the-clock supervision basically, Pete and Brian have to put down their beers and pick up some diapers. For the first time in their lives, they have to be responsible. That means forgetting their past and remembering to change, feed, clothe, bathe, burp, and play with their kids. Will Pete be able to curb his appetite for the ladies long enough to give Pete Jr. a bath? Will Brian figure out that giving Theodore a cappuccino isn't the responsible choice? These are two of many important questions that will be answered throughout the series.
